The number of interested Indonesian Education University Entrance Examination (UM UPI) in 2010 increased by 13.5 percent compared with last year. Last year, the number of registrants UPI UM as much as 12 617 people, while this year amounted to 13 579 people.
That was revealed by the Chairman of UM UPI, Prof. Dr. H. Dadang Sunendar, M. Hum in Building Academic and Student Affairs Administration Bureau of UPI, Jln. Setiabudhi, Bandung, Thursday (6 / 4). Dadang said, UM UPI in 2010 that was held for the level of S-1 and D-3 was conducted simultaneously in six locations, namely in Bandung (2 locations), Soil, Purwakarta, Tasikmalaya, and Serang.
According to Dadang, courses of study (Prodi) with the highest number of enthusiasts is a Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD), ie 1195 people, followed by Computer Science Education, 1025 people, and Management, 961 people. While Prodi with the lowest number of enthusiasts is the Dance Education, 35, Engineering Building, 26 people, and the PKK, 11 people.
